ABS and ESP inoperative, Distronic plus inoperative, and no power steering.
Hey guys
Today I've seemed to come across a major problem (again) with the car. Its a 2006 S500 w221 (European model) and I lose power steering, and I get a whole bunch of warning lights come up after about a minute of driving. I've checked all the fluids and they seem fine, but when i drive and turn the wheel is seems to be dumping power steering fluid. There are so many under trays that I can't see anything. It's going to the Mercedes specialist i use tomorrow.
Any idea what the problem could be?

Sounds like a bad alternator or battery. Can't explain the power steering fluid dumping out, but all the lights coming on and the power steering getting tough sounds like a power charging issue to me.

I thought this at first untill i saw the fluid on the floor. However I'm not getting any of the battery or charging failure warnings. Ive had the alternator replaced before. The same symptoms happened except the whole car died, at the moment its just shutting everything down.
