Hi I have a 2009 s550. I recently had starting problems and my lights flickering. A message came on saying battery not charged, so I replaced my battery under the hood and it fixed my starting problems but now it the message says battery not charged and auxilory battery malfunction and battery not charged in red. I read that there is a battery in the trunk and after tearing apart the back mine does not have a battery. My question is where is my auxilery battery.

2009 is the cross over year where some models have rear battery and some dont your aux batt is under the dash underneath your steering wheel to the side closest to your door if you remove side panel and use a torch you can see it, its quite small and black in colour!!
