w221 VIBRATION AFTER COLLISION
Hi guys, iu am new here, i read lots of post about vibration, but wanna post mine, maybe you gonna help me.
OK so i fixed my car in body shop after it was bend. I had accident
So now , i am driving 50 mph and i feel vibration in cabin, feel it in the center of console, like arm rest. Before 50 mph its not vibrating. Steering wheel is not vibrating, And once i reach 50 mph and if i accelerate vibration is gone, once i release throttle vibrations come again. I bring it to Star Mercedes in Yorkville IL and they told me that most likely i need to replace transmission, because car was in the accident and that may cause it. But the thing is that all gears shifting up and shifting down without any problems, or slipping or knocking.
Any ideas?? I change up all front suspension, all 4 rims and tires . i change drive shaft.
As i said they telling me that most likely its transmission and that i need to replace it.
Please let me know guys, what do you think
my car is 2011 s550 RWD

I would think a good start is to examine the engine and transmission mounts. I know that for most cars, in an accident, the engine and transmission mounts are designed to break. This allows the engine and transmission mount to drop, avoiding intrusion into the cabin. Depending how bad was the accident, the mounts should've been looked at or replaced. Any pictures of the damage? Any paperwork on what was done?
