Leak on V6 engine??
You're fortunate you don't have the newer expense fuel filter with the water detector!
Either cut the ends off the existing hoses just past the clamp marks and reinstall the clamps or order new hoses. I THINK both hoses are long enough to alter.
The clamps are reusable with the proper tools.
As the earlier poster suggest, may as well do the filter, it's a $20USD part while your in there if you replace the hoses.
PS, you must not be in the US, the 221.183 (S350s) here all have excess crap installed the greater world cars like yours lack. I've not seen a US model with that fuel filter since 2005 that doesn't have the water detector in the center of the filter, some have the removable one and the newer S350/GL350/ML350 installs with the OM642 all have the $75 POS built in water separator/detector.
