2012 S550 command display
My command display went blank/black and won't turn on.

The AC works but nothing else.

Check the consumer battery. Actually, you don't have one in the back like I do, so check the front one.

suggesting I replace the battery or just disconnect to restart the command display?

Have the battery tested. There is an on/off button on the center console, it could just be turned off.
