Smooth Ride?

Smooth Ride?
Hi all:
I have a 2008 Class in 4Matic with 124,000 on the clock.
I was talking with a dealer yesterday and he said that the rear wheel drive models tend to be a bit smoother than the 4Matic because the 4Matic has a gripper feel due to all wheels driving the car. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance for any help I can get.,
