Brace Yourself - Winter is coming. What chargers are people using??
My first winter with my W221 and I want to store it right. I'll add fuel preservative to a full tank, put extra air in tires and it will be in an insulated (though not heated) garage. Do I put a trickle charger on the starter battery, the accessory battery in the trunk, or both? what brand charger are you all using?

I keep a CTEK charger on my accessory battery in the trunk. I believe they are wired together, so the starter battery will stay up also, but can't confirm.

I keep my CL600 in my heated garage during the winter for the last couple of years using the same charger connected to the trunk battery with no problems whatsoever.

Lol, with the raised suspension on, it almost looks like a low guard 4x4 Jeep. I used the option a few times last winter and went through some thick snow with no problems.
