Different types of rear diffusers for different types of exhaust tips
I was looking to update my tips to the square quad type. Which diffuser would I need for the square tips? It appears I have neither type on my 08s63. Mine looks completely different. Can anyone identify and chime in which one goes where?

So from my research I am gathering that I have a pre facelift 08-09 diffuser without the colored panel in the center. Just a strip of silver. Looks like Mercedes updated the rear diffuser including the larger colored panel but kept the round tips on the 2010 like in picture “B” . So once Mercedes updated to square tips for 2011-2013, they also changed the diffuser to accommodate the larger square shape tips like in picture “A”. I noticed when using the the 2010 diffuser with square tips it looks a bit off. Almost as if the diffuser changes the overall angle of the tips causing the inside portion of the tip to aim further down. I could be completely wrong though.
One question that I feel might have been discussed before is.
Will a 2011-2013 diffuser fit on a 2008 S63? Or will I need to update the entire bumper also?
i ask that because a seller from EBay notes the larger A style diffuser will indeed only fit the 2011-2013 bumpers. Can anyone confirm?
I understand neither of the updated 2010 nor 2011-2013 diffuser will not fit on a S550 bumper from what I see.
Anyone who knows feel free to chime in. Maybe Gary Lo can clarify?
