Hi,

I am looking for a 2007 to 2009 S550. I know that there is a big problem with the engine balance shaft gear wearing in some cars. I think this problem was fixed in 2008, but there is also a transmission issue with having to replace the conductor plate and valve body. Was the engine and transmission issue fixed for some of 2007 and 2008? Is there a way to tell if the transmission is affected in a certain car or if the repair was done?
