I've got a 2012 S with the full display screen (rather than analogue dials) but it looks quite dull. It's mostly white on black. Very unlike the latest MBUX screens on the likes of the E class (2016+) and the S class (2014+) and the A class (2018+) which are far more colourful and interesting.

Is there any kind of official (or hacked) UI update for that screen? I know I could get a newer version of the COMAND software probably and even an Android (or Apple) screen to replace the COMAND screen completely, but I'm more interested in a software-only update for the main screen.
