Ambient lighting intensity/brightness boost ?
My 2012 S has the 3-colour ambient lighting but it's so dim that you can only see it in total darkness. In daylight you struggle to even verify that it's actually on.
Has anyone managed to boost the brightness or intensity without having to strip off all the trim and replace it with rows of LED's? I'm wondering whether something as simple as an increase in voltage or changing of a resistor might give a double-digit percentage increase without going to the trouble of replacing the LED's.

If you have not already done so check brightness setting.

Yeah, it's set at 5. I'm looking to turn it up to 11
It probably looks bright enough in this pic but (a) it's a long exposure, and (2) the angle is from down low.

MBWorld Fanatic!
It’s decent and I leave it on blue, because most other cars with no choice are the amber.
Its never going to be like this though
