2007 S550 Logic 7 Harmon Kardon Sounds Great BUT HE RADIO
Everything in the system was playing fine, then one day the radio stared playing Bass super loud and the MIDs/Highs sounded muffled. The CD, DVD, and Nav systems sound fine and clear. I purchased a booth device to listen to music on my phone thru the radio. Once the radio stop playing clear I listen to CD’s. Can’t take I anymore PLEASE HELP!!!
Here are my trouble shooting steps:
1. Went to the MB dealer and they said to un hook the assessors battery for 1 hour to reset the the radio. WOW all that stuff behind the dead space in the trunk. That did not work (MB dealer said don’t pull FUSES).
2. I checked the Amp and plays all channels clear. Unplugged radio box in L/S rear trunk and replugged sounds the same. Next I went to the dealer and got the IPOD cable to go that route. After pulling head unit I the car and notice I would need more IPOD parts I said BUMP THAT. I also checked the fiber optic cables and they are fine.
Should I just replace the radio module for 100 dollars?
