Headlights: Option code 615 Pre-Facelift
I'm trying to figure out what the AFS feature is or if it's just "Active Curve Light". Searching here has not cleared up my confusion about this. I have a 2007 S550 with the following lighting options:
610 Night View Assist
615 Bi-Xenon Headlight W.Active Curvelight Right Drive
619 Cornering Illumination
Who's got the 411 on this?

AFS (Adaptive Frontlight System) is a term coined by Hella and used on several cars. The Active Curve Illumination (marketing) = 615 Bi-Xenon Headlight W.Active Curvelight Right Drive and does under the right circumstances provide 15deg of swing to the headlights in the direction of the turn, depending on speed and likely 3,000 other variables (ok maybe 3.)

much closer to natural sunlight.
Standard all models.
