Most common cause, wheel sensor need MB DAS (diagnostics) to identify which wheel. Before doing so, inspect wiring to each wheel. Replacement part # front left & right 2219057100, rear 2219050201 (shown).

I have had this twice on my 2012 S550 now in the past year. Every time after rain or going through a puddle.
The OEM brake pads are VERY dusty and the dust will settle around the holes in the disc that the ABS uses to figure out if the wheel is spinning. After some water on it the dust clumped up and actually clogged some of the holes.
I cleaned it all with brake cleaner and shop air and changed to Akebono pads and so far it has not happened again.
So you might want to check that before you replace the sensors.

Good luck.

Hi!

It can be anything from a faulty ABS sensor (most common), reluctor ring inside the hub or a faulty ESP module.
Reading codes with a scan tool would be the best way to narrow down the problem.
