Last week I replaced the belt tensioner and idlers (noisy). Along the bottom of the gap between the radiator and the engine are two soft/flexible hoses each about 1" in diameter that are clipped together. They run from the driver's side of the engine to the passenger side of the radiator somewhere. Apparently during my work, I must have unclipped a hose because it made contact with the cooling fan. It doesn't leak but did get abraded part way through. What these hoses are for? Transmission cooling? Power Steering cooling? Air Con? Other?
