2007 Mercedes S 500 Suspension

Good Day,
I'm the owner of a 2007 Mercedes S 500 with 22in Rims and suspension changed to Strut Masters Suspension System. I'm currently have a issue whenever the car is loaded with additional weight in the rear the tire rub on to the shock. If I change back to the air suspension would this correct the issue? Also I'm in the process of changing out all of my lateral arms, and control arms would this also play a role with issues with the tire rubbing. I know the ultimate solution would be to reduce the rim size but in the Bahamas that might be harder to find.

Yes, one of the great advantages of the airmatic suspension is auto-leveling. No simple shock and spring suspension will provide both comfort and level control, that's where the automated systems come in. You could potentially put stiffer springs back there, but when the weight is removed it would look a bit odd, high-booty style.

your confirming with the air-matic shocks the size of the rims won't matter?

Hmmm, to be clear, it would correct the issue where more weight in the rear makes the suspension sag. Of course it has limits, but is smarter than just shocks/springs. No idea on the larger rims.
