A few days ago, I was a bit too forceful in opening and closing my sunroof. As a result, the rectangular hanging clip snapped off of the knob. Dealer told me I would have to replace the entire overhead console for $1200. Said this isnt available in individual parts. Has anyone else had this issue to occur? Any other options other than to replace the entire console for $1200? The sunroof still opens and closes when I press the knob that remains. Any feedback on this will be appreciated

Definitely go this route..dealer quoted me over $1000 to have my command console(dial, source, hazard lights) replaced..found one on eBay for $180...plug and play. Works perfectlyOriginally Posted by artim808

Has anyone tried just replacing the switch part I rather not switch out the whole overhead control panel. I just ordered a part so hopefully that fixes my problem also any video links you guys recommend to DIY repair of this?
