Is there a 2nd seat control computer?

My S600 massage and lumbar on the driver's side works, but only for about 30 sec. Then it "forgets" and it all goes to 0 (just for those two, the rest of the seat works perfectly). I swapped the two control modules on the seat back (221-870-35-93) but that didn't change anything on either seat. Pass seat still works 100% and driver's seat still works fine except for lumbar related. I don't think it's a leak because when the seat is running (massage or lumbar) it's quite powerful and firm. So, wondering if there is another controller somewhere I need to replace.

thanks!

Edit, is this it? https://parts.mbofwilmington.com/oem...ule-2218707493 . Anyone know what this module controls?

Before I tear my seat apart to swap it, anyone know what that controls? As best I can tell it only controls seat movement, not any air bladders

Not exactly sure everything it controls but it comes out fairly easily from underneath the cushion. Just unplug everything and inspect the pins make sure they aren't corroded.

2218707493 is seat adjustment control unit. Given circumstances best bet is to check for leak(s) – lines, bladders, clutches (connectors), valves (flat plastic), etc. Replacement is part # 2118000753.

As always, you rock, thanks much. Any tips on how to check the clutches and such for leaks? I am familiar with removing the seatback cover, etc

Had a similar problem a few years ago with my 2006 S350
In fact it was 2 issues
1. Lumbar not holding setting - mine actually had the problem of the actual set-point changing (and not so much loosing pressure due to solenoid/bladder/piping leak(s)). I ended up keeping a "log" of the two lumbar settings, to prove it was changing by itself - helped get extended warranty claim approved. Changing the controller fixed this problem. So maybe check if its the setpoint setting that's dropping to zero/other, or the actual pressure reading - these are shown as two different representations on the screen
2. All bladders dropping pressure - again under warranty the complete bladder/solenoid/piping assemblies (cushion and backrest) were changed, which fixed the problem

Finally a trick I found was that if you use the "easy" exit function (ie pushes seat back when getting out), when it goes back to "memory" position ready for driving it re-pressurises bladders to their set-points)

Hope it helps
