2008 S550 Starting Problem & Steering Leak
Hi all,
Couple issues recently arose on my 2008 S550.
1st problem has been going on for a few weeks now - it has been leaking from I believe the power steering area. I took it in for an oil change and my mechanic mentioned that I should keep an eye on this. Is this a common issue? What is the best route to get this fixed?
Most recent issue - the car has had trouble starting, usually a couple pushes of my push to start will turn the car on, sometimes three pushes. Today, the command unit lost power, and the auto trunk closer is not receiving power. My entire command unit has gone black. I have recently replaced the main battery under the hood (1 year ago) so I know that cannot be the problem.
Any common solutions to these issues? Thanks in advance!!!

Haven't tried that yet. But just today the steering wheel locked up on me. I got the ABS and ESP currently unavailable message and the car wouldn't change gears. I'm assuming maybe auxiliary battery or some sort of battery has died? I changed the main battery less than a year ago.
