Parking Assist Issue
Well I fixed one of the three issues that I been having with my car. One of the issues is I was getting the abs and esp lights on my dashboard. I read several posts that suggested replacing the wheel sensors. I did all 4 wheels and thankfully the error lights went out. Now for my second issue is that I get the pre safe error randomly on my car where it thinks my car is about to be involved in an accident. This issue I am having a hard time resolving as I have recently ordered a new accelerator pedal in hopes it resolves this issue. Now onto my third and final issue. About 6 months ago I replaced the motor in the parking brake module and had the mechanic reinstall it. Well at first it didn’t communicate with the car with star computer connected nor did actually engage the brake. Now months later the error “park” light is on the cluster still but when I press the button to engage the parking brake it works. Yet I still get the error light on the cluster n message that says parking brake faulty. Anyone want to shed something light on this. Furthermore the star computer when connected to the car doesn’t list a part # near the parking brake but other components do show part #s . Just very weird
