Rookie question
I have been adding coolant for the last two days and the coolant light went on again today totalling about one gallon. Not sure where it is going but is it possible it's going into the windshield reservoir? It was overflowing.

I used a stainless steel fitting to join the two hoses and it was still holding tight after 3 years when it was totaled. The heating element is just the coolant passing through the aluminum pipe, no thermostat specifically for the washer fluid. The fluid line however has both an internal heater for the length of the line as well as conductors for the heated washer nozzles. If I lived in the North, I would just fix what's broken, obviously personal preference --- up to you.
I realize the pictures were of the windshield wiper fluid container and the antifreeze that was inside the car was blue not green as was suggested by the local Indy shop near me. So has anyone replaced one of these in the past?
