2010 MB S550 LWB - Odd whining noise, and vibration
Hello all. Went to see this 2010 Mb S550 LWB Designo black paint on black leather. Vehicle is immaculate cosmetic wise, has 139,160 kms. I noticed 2 alarming issues which un- comforted me but not enough to move on to something else.
-1st problem: Vibration at idle and while driving. Can be felt in both front footwells and both front seats. Doesn’t seen to effect the engine. My guess, engine mounts but could be wrong.
-2nd problem: Odd whining sound coming from front right/front of engine, can be easily heard more so on the front right corner of the car. I couldn’t hear it while driving but could be the insulation of the W221 that kept me from hearing it.
I have 2 vids attached to check out.. any help and or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Vibration at idle, agree first step check motor mounts. Whining, first step check belt drive components, see attachments.

Huh. Whining and vibration... check for wife or girlfriend in the passenger seat, before you blame the car.
Happy Friday, folks... I'll be here all weekend. Try the veal, and don't forget to tip your waitress.
