All service since new, purchased as a CPO with 23k, and I still get it serviced at required intervals. I had the dealer change the spark plugs on 2013 with M278 engine at 40k. I told my dealer to keep the old plugs and number their respective cylinder. Based on the deposits, all but 4 & 8 look good. I'm thinking these are the cylinders nearest the throttle body and would get the majority of PCV or EGR gases. What are y'alls thoughts?
