2010 S550
Battery Icon comes on and off
Hello to all trying to get guidence just purchased 2010 S550 from individual. after hard acceleration on freeway the battery icon came on on the dash about 30 minuets later and is coming on after driving about 30 minuets I'm thinking Alternator.

Do you have any CELs? How old is the battery? Batteries usually die in extreme heat or cold weather and about 3+ years. Are the terminals clean, poor contact and ground causes a lot of electrical issues. Most parts replacement stores like Autozone can test both the battery and alternator, and I would start there first.
