Wrinkle in center console armrest....
I've hard for years it's easy to remove wrinkles in the center armrest leather but microwaving a hot towel in water, then laying it overtop the armest, followed by a cold towel. Does it actually work?

I doubt that works. I tried it on my 07 and nothing. Maybe I was doing it wrong. This was just a poor design and I think just about every W221 I've seen has this issue. I've had four W221 and all four have had this issue develope. I just gave up on even trying to fix it

I'm pretty sure at some point different leather was used and some is definitely better than others. I've got a black center console armrest from my 07 S600 for sale that is in great condition without wrinkles if anyone is interested let me know.
