Any interest in a 2007 S550 with 263K miles?
Ive had this car about a year and finally got my S600 sorted. I am looking to sell it and wondering what it might be worth to someone if anyone here is interested? The car is VERY clean. Looking at exterior and interior you would think its a 50K miles car. I have done a lot of work to it over the year to get it sorted but it does still have its issues...
Heres whats been done...
Transmission service including mounts
front diff replaced with 20K miles unit
New oil pan with intermediate shaft and bearings
All new front control arms
New front CV axles
transfer case bearings replaced to address a common bearing failure
AMP repaired for the stereo
Heres what the car needs to drive flawlessly
Front and rear brake pads and rotors(causing a pulsation) new parts from FCP Euro included with the sale
Driveshaft support bearing (also included from FCP Euro) the existing bearing has play in it when up on jacks and it causes a vibration that is prominent at 45-50 MPH
the car needs a new ball joint on the front left and right side. Causing a clunk over bumps. I do not have these parts. I believe these are the ball joints that are installed at the bottom of the air struts
The car does have Arnott air struts all the way around although I did not purchase them so they would not be under the life time warranty.
Any interest ?
