Can I lock my W221 with alarm disabled?

Question Can I lock my W221 with alarm disabled?
I was on a ferry with stormy weather and apparently my car alarm was going off every minute. I only found this out at the end of the journey.

So when it was time for the return trip, and seeing that it was stormy again, I thought I'd lock the car without the alarm being enabled. I figured it would take me 2 minutes looking through the user guide PDF on my phone. I was wrong about that, so it again had a multi-triggering journey.

Does anyone know how to lock the car but the alarm not be enabled?
