Starter battery replacement / roadside assistance
This morning my starter 6.5 year old starter battery was dead. I jump started my car and drove to my local MB dealer to get it replaced, They wanted $220 for the OEM battery plus another $200 to install it. I drove about a mile away and called roadside assistance via MBrace. They sent out a technician from the same dealer with a battery. The only charge was $220 for the same OEM battery. Labor was FREE!
This is my second starter battery replacement. The original and second each lasted about 6.5 years. I still have the original 13 year old consumer battery in the trunk
My only issue with MBrace was I was on hold with music for almost 15 minutes until I reached a service representative. Once I did, the service was excellent.

And the funny part is, it will never occur to them that they'd have been better off just installing it for you for free. Actually... strike that. They probably get reimbursed by M-B for Mbrace service calls, so the dealer may have actually come out ahead by allowing that little bit of theater.
