Just bought an '11 S550 with all possible options couple of hours ago. Coming from an '09 750i base with 314k kms that burns a liter of oil every 600 kms. Major upgrade (hopefully).
Bought it from an online auction, seems clean, dealer maintained. I will ask the dealer for all the records when I pick it up next week. It has 178k kms. Any recommended maintenance specific at this kms?
Main reason I'm posting is I'm wondering if it has active steering, which actually centers the car in the middle of the lane (not lane keep assist which waits till the line is crossed and brakes on one side).

Ask for the VMI Vehicle Master Inquiry. It gives the service record and part numbers installed on your car since birth. I'm not sure about MB dealers in Canada, but in my neighborhood they are very protective of the service data, citing proprietary, confidential, blah, blah.
