Driver Side Mirror Signal Lamp Failure (Quick Fix?)

Hi Everyone,

Long time lurker here. I have a 2007 S550 and I have problem with the Driver Side Mirror Signal. At one point it used to work but intermittently fail, now but this past summer it stopped working completely. I replaced the light which was quite easy to do, assuming the bulb burnt out, and I used an OEM part but that didn't solve it.

Is there a fuse I should look at? I've read it may be a SAM related issue? So is there is a quick fix or is it a sign of a bigger problem?

Thanks in advance!

E

When this happened on my GL, it was the wiring. Whole new mirror internals required ... at least those the wiring goes to.
