If I leave the car for a few days, when I try to start with the push-button it goes "clack, clack", tries but the starter works only for a second each time. If I remove the button and use the key it starts perfectly without hesitation. What makes the starting sequence demand more "juice" when using the button than when using the key?

Of course, when on normal daily use the push-button works without any problem.
