S550
New here looking for advice

Good evening ladies and gentleman,
I am looking to buy a 2007 S550 with 88k on it it comes with all service records 2 owner 1st owner religiously bringing the car to Mercedes for the first 75k and 2nd owner bringing it a independent European local shop for the last 11k engine mounts were replaced at 70k by MB and sway bar links I've seen all the bad things with this year and this motor being one of the problem ones its an early 2017 is there anything else I should look for and when does the shaft sprocket issue arise earlier in the miles or whenever any help is appreicated

Sounds like you have done your homework. I started off looking at the 2007 but purchased 2008 just to be on the safe side, since I am not a mechanic.

nice info, really ugly when you are in these serial numbers after you bought the car
sometimes wonder if the seller was aware ....
