Front End Control Arm torque specs
Hi All,
I have been rebuilding the front end on a 2007 S550 4matic and cannot find the torque specs for the control arm to the frame for the front and back arms.
Does anyone know these values? I do know that you need to torque them when at ride height.
So far I have replaced the two arms, front and rear, tie rod ends, and stay bar link. I also replaced one torn boot on the CV joint.
My car has the strutmasters conversion kit and the strut spring was rubbing on the stay bar link so I replaced the struts as well. I think the first generation had to weak of a coil over spring and it compressed overtime to rub on the bushing. I believe that they changed the spring to fix this on the new struts.
I also replaced the two rotors, pads and one caliper on the front as well.
Thanks,
Paul
