Electrical help!?!?

Hey guys I need your help. I have a 2009 s550 4matic and my mb2 reads p0101: no communication with tcm, nor comm with terminal 30?? I’m on limp mode, my paddle shifters won’t shift, my center screen won’t turn on. The mb2 mentions the bus can a lot I feel like it’s an electrical issue (maybe a new circuit board?). Any help will be greatly appreciated.

P.s. I’ve lowered the valve body cleaned it and reinstalled. I might have to change the conductor plate (but what’s up with the interior main screen not working?!?!), the transmission i.s.m. is fine.

I'm not an electrical expert, but this sounds like a SAM is having issues since you have multiple electrical issues.
See if the SAM for the trans and center screen are from the same location (front). You may need a true SDS scan to pinpoint the issues.

If this is the 7 speed trans (722.9) you will need to have the conductor plate SCN coded to the car...you can't just change it like the 5 speed (722.6). This is dealer only repair.

yes and it's not a dealer only repair
with my system you have the SCN coding online and offline and I have a dealer account
100$ scanners and chinese cheap cloned Xentry have their limits, once you figured that out you might want to get a real system and avoid dealers forever

Usually, when there is no communication with conductor plate, you need to replace the complete valve body assembly because the flow data can not be transferred. Either way, the best thing to do is to install a new/reman part from the dealer. List price on a new/reman is only $445. Problem is, Dealer will not sell it to you. An independent shop can purchase the part but they will need licensing through NASTAF. I would highly recommend not buying a used one..... unless you get a version 3 manufactured by CONTINENTAL. The Siemens version 1,2 and 3 are garbage. If you have any questions, you can PM me.
