W221 S550 Facelift Air Suspension Issue

Hey guys and gals!
Does your airmatic pump turn on and keep running for about a minute everytime you turn your car on?

what makes you think its that one?

this pump is in the front right corner - it will come on and try to establish the ride height the sensors are telling the car its got at any point the car is running... with atmospheric changes it can be 1" different over night... but as the car ages air leaks become prominent as does seized level sensors (which eventually snap and leave it beached.... they need new sensors and an air pump every 60k miles)

there's another pump in the boot that comes on every time you start the car
