Screw in the front tire

So I took my 2007 S600 V12 out for a spin in the nice weather. First thing I hear is a thump thump thump coming from my front end, Almost sounded like the tire had a flat spot. I pull over, and sure enough, a real nice sheet metal screw is embedded in the first sub-section nearest the side-wall of the Michelin tire. I grab a set of vice-grips and unscrew that little metal varmint. Holding my breath, I wait to see if it leaks air. So far, so good. When I got home, I stuffed the hole with RTV silicone. You could plainly see the outline of the former screw in the tire.

Will the tire leak?

It's a v12. Get 2 new tires for best insurance.
