FYI mine stopped working.. it just needed some exercise. the solenoid I guess only switches at a certain point..... I just gave its an intermittent 12v feed and knocked it about, repeated about a 100 times and its been working happily for the last 3 years
its seems when working to give a bit more top end power
the bit it operates is the bigger designed in failure.... I would carefully clean and lubricate / then operate back and forth the silly vacuum operated inlet manifold variable inlet rubbish. the fragile plastic link rods break and you have a $700 parts and a 4 hr job to work around the deliberate need for a new inlet manifold
