2010 S550 4Matic Spring (Lower) Control Arm Boot

I replaced the torn boot of front-left lower control arm yesterday. I first used the scanner tool to depressurize the strut from 8.0 bar down to 0.0 bar. And then I removed the strut nut to allow me to replace the torn boot of the control arm. I then jacked up the strut and fastened the nut back under load. I repressurized it back to 8.0 bar. I was wondering if my procedure is correct.

Upon finishing the job, I noticed the height between the fender and left front wheel tire is slightly taller than the rest of the wheels. Is this normal? By the way, does Airmatic automatically adjust the height of all 4 wheels? Do I wheel alignment or not as I didn’t remove the control arm.

Thanks for your help.
