Dealer Installed Carpet Protection
I’ve never been one for many “add one” from dealer, but when I bought my 2013 S550 in March of 2016, the dealer has already installed carpet protection. Frankly I barely paid attention - it was CPO and the protection was already applied so it wasn’t a question of “if” I wanted to buy this optional add on. I remembered this when looking recently at the car’s CarFax. Whatever these used has been awesome, the floor mats look brand new and I’ve never covered them with plastic - just vacuumed regularly. My assumption is that Dupont Teflon/ 3M Scotchguard was used. Writing to see if there is a particular offering by all MB dealers or this is just something my MB used that might appear in another brand’s dealer offering, etc.
