Locking car while running?

Is there a way to lock the car while it’s running in my driveway? There is no remote start and it’s 25 this morning. I would like to let the car warm up when it’s cold outside but I need to lock it as people stealing soiling cars in my neighborhood is not in common.

I have tried locking it with the fob, tried using the emergency door key and no luck.

You can open your window and reach in to lock the car with the door switch.
Then close your window with the window switch.
When you return to your car, unlock with the emergency key.

Test this first with someone in the car so you know how to do it.

With driver's and driver side rear door open lock doors with the lock button on driver's door. This will lock other doors but not the driver's door. May not lock the open rear door either, can't remember. Then close driver's door and push the lock pin down thru the rear door. Then push the lock pin down on the rear door if it didn't lock from the locking button on driver's door and close the rear door.

You will enter with the metal key in the FOB. This will set alarm but push on the FOB will stop that.

This method worked for me when I needed to lock the car with the key FOB in it without taking the battery out.

I have the MidCity remote start on my vehicle. It's great.
