Multiple periodic errors
Hi
I've got a -07 S500 4-matic (S550 in US). From time to time a get some quite annoying errors on the car. Listing them up:
- Turning signals stops working
- Fuel gauge stops working
- Right headrest goes up an down
- Tire pressure sensors fails
- Parking sensors fails
These errors can appear one by one, or all together. Usually starts with the turning signals, an often after driving some kilometers.
In lack of a better solution, I changed the front SAM. No change.
Any ideas where to start?

I have spent a few hours with my Xentry, but I can't figure out what can cause all these fails to appear, at the same time. I has to be some sentral unit or communication point, that affects all these functions.

So, is it power supply to the front SAM or is it grounding problem with the front SAM? I would look into grounding connection(s)...

parking sensors are on the rear SAM and I didn't spot any of your other's related to the front....

Another «fun» observation regarding this issue; the faults occurs when I turn to the left. When I turn the steering wheel to the right, everything returns to normal. Makes me think of steering angle sensor. Checked angle values, looks OK.

It could also be caused by something physically moving to the right when you turn left. Wire can shift position and short, or ground cable lose connection.
