M278 Engine
Is there a difference between a 11-13 550 engine and a 2015-2020 M278 engine? I ask because my window sticker on my new acquisition says the engine is a 4.6L and on my 15 it says 4.7L, is this a different engine or what? I cant figure it out. Please elaborate.

You could look up VINs from an 11-13 E550 and a 15-20 E550, run the VINs through lastvin.com and see the engine numbers. If the three digits after the 278. are the same, the engines are the same for practical purposes.
