xenon performance sub par?
new guy here_____Have many or any of you felt the need to replace the xenon headlight bulbs on your cars? I just acquired a 2012 s550 and love it ! By, I’m not impressed with the headlight emmision/projection . My HID equipped bmw and Audi ( past cars..1999 & 2004) weee re might brighter with a sharp cut off. Surely these newer xenon bulbs should be more effective at reducing the darkness of nighttime . My car has 107k miles so so any of you think/suspect the limited lifespan of the bulbs is bowing its age???
Another observation : it SEEMS like the direction of the light is a bit too low and then when hi-beams are on it s WAY too far down the Road. Puzzling

certainly worth swapping the bulbs they do wear dim over the years... MINE are dangerous at 62k miles... particularly as some fool specced night vision at build so all I get is two dim outer xenon's that aren't safe. Thus I have 2 x redundant IR lights on the next ones in and 2 x halogen inner cornering ones that do almost nothing worth while....
