Spring Cleaning
I use the cleaner and degreaser first and then the protector after I dry everything really good.
And of course, it would be a TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE way to treat a Mercedes engine!! From the degreaser to the hose, it would be a disaster to try it on an M275. But, my EcoBoost and my wife's Volvo 3.0 I6 looked great. Anyway, I've been looking for something to spiff up the engine bay since I can't find that stuff any more -- and I couldn't use it on the Mercedes, even if I did find it.

I've read horror stories about using a house/pressure washer on the engine bay. I didn't use my pressure washer but I did use my hose. I haven't driven the car in several day and the engine was cold so I covered every electrical connector with aluminum foil (shown in the first 2 pics), sprayed Gunk cleaner everywhere and let it sit for 10 minutes and then liberally sprayed the entire engine bay with a low/medium setting with the garden hose. I let it air dry and then wiped it down with microfiber towels. It sat for the day and started right up with no issues. With every electrical connector covered and not sprayed directly, I wasn't worried at all.
satin finish which does not attract any dust.
