I was close to purchasing a 2010 S550 with 70K miles. When I test drove it it had a strange humming noise from the center console that followed with acceleration between 15-40mph.

Please listen to this video and let me know what it could be. I'm 99% sure its NOT a wheel bearing. Had the windows down trying to pinpoint a wheel. It definitely was coming from the center console.

I also had the radio and climate control Off.

I've test driven two other 2010 S550s with similar mileage and they were very quiet.
