2007 S550-4Matic LWB Sedan
Just totaled ‘loaded’ 2010 S550-4Matic with 68k miles; purchase 2-months ago for $19k. Considering the 2007 model as replacement purchase for $15k with 79.3k miles — Base model with only the ‘P2A-Premium-II’ package (Parktronic, ventilated front seats, Sirius, keyless). Before going to local MB-dealership for pricing:
1. Can rear camera’ be installed?
2. Can iPhone be easily ‘paired/synced’?

1. yes, but the quality of aftermarket is light a day and night if you compare, so I would not look at OEM here...
2. japanese models used to have working BT in pre-facelift... I saw some $400 retrofits to get OEM BT module in the armrest working. In either case it's just a voice/call with no music option.
