Parktronic Problem

So I recently bought a W221 S550 prefacelift. I have the parktronic option and I see the sensors on the front bumper and rear bumper. I do not have the distronic option. However, the system is completely inactive and nothing related to the system pops up on my dashboard. There is no red lights or beeping of any kind. The car acts like the system is not even a part of the ar. I checked the fuses and it seems to be fine but there is also a fuse that is missing. So not completely sure what the issue is. Any thoughts? Could it be a module? I recently did change the battery because the car was sitting for a year and not connected to a charger.

Change batter shoudn't cause any problem. You need a scanner tools to see if any error on parktronic module.

I am going to state the obvious here but is the option turned on in the instrument cluster?

The button has a red light next to it and when I press it nothing happens. The light stays on. There is a code U000B No CAN message received from parktronic. I also have a number of other codes including B10E1 signal acquisition and control module (SAM). I have a bunch of battery codes including B1014 consumer shutoff, B1305 vehicle power supply and emergency operation. I have changed the both front and rear batteries. I think before I bought it the car was sitting for a while.

now u noted them, clear the lot out, charge the battery and see where it is.... anything important will come straight back

a 221 picks up an encyclopaedia Britannica's worth of fault codes each trip to the paper shop - so if no one ever plugged it in and wiped it, you'll have no idea what's going on

My cl550 had the same problem repaired by replacing the connector for the parktronic sensors. It was corroded
