Minor leak
Hello all,
I recently replaced my power steering pump, powering pump seal, and the reservoir. Needless to say by my title that I have a very very small leak that seems becoming from the area where the reservoir and power steering pump. I am at at loss why it’s leaking as I tightened the bolts on the reservoir tight enough. Oem pump, oem seal , and oem reservoir.. not sure why it’s leaking. Just a side note as I noticed that my reservoir part number is 0004602583. According to websites this part # fits the 4matic and base which I have. Then I look up 0004602383 and again it says it fits the 4matic and base model. Any help will be grateful appreciated.
one last question: is the power steering pump seal the same part # A0004661880 on base and non 4 matic.
kon, my assumption is that I received the reservoir for the 4 matic.. the leak is to small. Is there really that much of a difference between the non 4 matic and 4 matic pump?
