Driver’s seat module

Got an issue and trying to figure out if someone can help me. Apparently my driver side seat doesn’t go back or forth. The upper part where my back goes up/down. Can someone tell me which module controls that? I see two modules under my seat but would like to know which one I need to look at. My 07 is the base model. I apparently had a bottle of water under my seat and of course it exploded.. so I am sure the water caused this issue.

One CU as shown, bottle may be a coincidence. Your problem ‘could’ be seat switch in door or motor assembly that moves seat fore & aft.

Do you have a part # for motor assembly ? It seems that the seat reclines with out an issue. Is the reclining feature controlled by a different motor?

Different motors. MB does not offer motor(s) separately if motor and/or assembly is your problem you will need to pull motor part # and hunt for replacement. See attachment.

Kon,

The issue now is getting to the rear bolts of the seat which attach to the floor of the car. Any suggestions? I can not get to them at all.

Attached wiring info. Try to connect external power directly to motor attempting to move seat enough to access bolts.
