Put in a new conductor plate from fcpeuro...towed it to Mercedes to get programmed.. the tech is saying because the old conductor plate cant be read I would have to buy a valve body..is this true? anyone with some info in this would help...
No. it's not true, for SCN conding conductor plate you need to enter the version of valve body, usually version of valve body is printed in the side of the valve body, perhaps due to the old conductor plate can't be read then they don't have this info for SCN coding...
Ok..thanks sou like they trying to get me to spend big money.. called another Mercedes dealer and they said they can do it....🤔smh.....I do have a xentry c6 and my xentry gave me a file to query to the help desk to be uncoded and then be uploaded to the plate...but I couldn't query the file to the help desk on my computer..not sure why...but it also gave me this form it printed when it gave me the file with Info..
